3rd Annual Chuck Keegan “Race for the Kids” |
The 3rd Annual Chuck Keegan “Race for the Kids” was held on Saturday, May 7, 2011. This year's event was an even bigger success than last year! Thanks to all of our volunteers and sponsors.
This event is co-sponsored by Clarkston Junior High and the Clarkston Foundation, in honor of Chuck Keegan, a former Clarkston teacher. All proceeds from the race will be used to provide scholarship opportunities for the students of Clarkston Community Schools. Events include a 5K Run, 3K Walk, and a “Donut Dash” for children ten and under. The event will begin at the Clarkston Junior High Track; registration begins at 8:00 a.m.; races begin at 9:00 a.m. Early registration forms ($50 per family, $20 per individual for the 5K Run or 3K Walk, and $5 per individual for the “Donut Dash.” Late or Race Day registrations are $60 per family, $25 per individual for the 5K Run or 3K Walk, and $5 per individual for the “Donut Dash.”
Please consider joining us in this worthwhile event to honor a beloved Clarkston teacher who touched the lives of so many of our children, and support our endeavor to provide scholarship opportunities to the students of Clarkston Community Schools.

Theatre Seat Sponsorship Program |

The Clarkston Foundation has announced the reopening of the Clarkston Foundation Theatre Seat Sponsorship Program. The program was initiated by past Clarkston Foundation President, Sherry Regiani in 1998. Sales are open to anyone wishing to support the Performing Arts.
The foundation is offering sponsorships at the following levels:
- Producer’s Chair: $2,000
- Director’s Chair: $1,200
- Assistant Director: $800
- Benefactor: $400
- Patron: $200
Each donor name will be engraved on the Clarkston Foundation Theatre Seat Plaque that is permanently on display in the lobby of the Clarkston High School’s Performing Arts Center.
